SICAM: Vauth-Sagel delivers!

Innovative developments, sustainability and supply chains

Download

Pordenone, 17/10/2023 – Vauth-Sagel continued its successful appearance at interzum in Cologne at this year’s SICAM in Pordonone, Italy. Despite the sluggish economy, the company is confident in its further growth! Together with customers, partners and suppliers, the company is developing its product palette further and pursuing sustainability, in line with its current campaign motto “#KEEPONGROWING”. At the 14th Edition of the “trade fair for components and accessories for the furniture industry”, Vauth-Sagel is showing an interested public, consisting of industry partners, specialist suppliers, craftsmen, planners and designers, the current trends in the world of Vauth-Sagel.

The core of the product innovations that focus on expanding living environments and the needs and general conditions of users remains unchanged. “At SICAM 2023, we are showing further developments of several components that simplify people’s everyday lives,” says Managing Director Claus Sagel. “The aim is to provide customers around the world with an opportunity to touch, try out and assess the products. Many of the products presented at interzum are already available for order and delivery at SICAM,” adds Sagel.

The latest developments, available now!

Once again, the Vauth-Sagel promise will be presented and brought to fruition at SICAM 2023: more modularity and building blocks in the transitional areas of the home, more convenience in accessing inaccessible space, and more design for a consistent look. Perfect coordination is achieved when the best individual components interlock, interact and the environment of the components used – whether next to the refrigerator, the washing machine or the cooker – is taken into consideration. The VS SUB® Larder and VS Larder Flex are available now. In combination with the tried-and-tested VS TAL® Larder tall cabinet pull-out, the two modules form a modular system for more individuality and customised solutions in both tall and base units. The result: more oversight, convenience, flexibility and organisation for stylish kitchen and utility areas. And less warehousing in retail.

Another example of an innovation available at SICAM is the VS WASH® series. The laundry system are available in a unique variety of types and now come in heights of 550, 460, 426 and 326 cm. Inside the hamper, rounded perforations ensure optimal air circulation to protect the laundry. This level of perfection is unique on the market, thanks to a new manufacturing technology. All the hampers in the VS WASH® series are equipped with carrying handles that simplify the transport, even if two laundry hampers have to be transported at the same time. Following on from interzum, the latest additions to the VS WASH® family will be presented at SICAM with VS WASH® Space Pro and VS WASH® Flex Pro. The latter can be installed on an existing drawer system, allowing the hidden laundry hamper to be easily integrated in the utility area, without disrupting the seamless look. The VS WASH® systems are now available as serial parts.

Waste bins have also been subject to several new developments. The VS ENVI® Flex system has been expanded and will be available for order at SICAM in four bin heights: 216, 256, 326 and 426 mm. The VS ENVI® Free system is now available with a new thermoformed tray, which enables optimal positioning of the bins in a drawer. This new equipment feature will likewise be available for order within this quarter.

The VS ENVI® product family also includes the latest VS ENVI® Water system. It is optimally suited for installation in combination with the Quooker CUBE cold water reservoir and the PRO3 boiling water reservoir. The perfectly coordinated design ensures that all the necessary components can be compactly stored in the cabinet below the sink. The variant for 600 mm cabinets was introduced at interzum already. Now the system has also been adapted for 800 mm and 1000 mm cabinets. Depending on the cabinet width, the 3-litre Quooker water reservoir can be combined with a 400, 600 or 800 mm VS ENVI® Space system. For the 7-litre water reservoir, which is 30 mm wider than the 3-litre variant, a special width-reducing module was developed, which is available for a 600 mm cabinet. All VS ENVI® Water systems are now available for order.

The story continues with Vauth-Sagel innovations

Creating more than 1,000 new possibilities with only a few components: this is achieved by

extending the existing VS TAL® Gate assembly with the VS Gate Rack (available from 2024) and VS Gate Rack Plus. The new elements now offer more scope for individual solutions – inside cabinets and beyond. A brand-new addition to the range is the maxi shelf in a 750 width, which works on the basis of the tried-and-tested 600 frame. It takes into account the current trend towards wider door fronts. The VS TAL Gate® Pro expansion is expected to be available in late 2024.

VS TOP® Down, the drop-down fitting for wall units, has already received the Golden Award – Best of the Best in the kitchen furniture and equipment category from the Kitchen Innovation Award. This award honours the outstanding functionality, innovation, product benefits, design and ergonomics of the exceptional fitting, thanks to which the storage space in wall units can be made optimally accessible. VS TOP® Down will be available for order and deliverable to customers in the course of 2024.

Sustainability in the spotlight!

This applies to customers, partners in the value chain, product transport and Vauth-Sagel as a company. At SICAM 2023, the company will once again prove that its commitment to sustainability is more than just lip service: Vauth-Sagel has been a partner of the global initiative “Plant for the Planet” for many years. This means a tree will be planted for every visitor to the Vauth-Sagel trade fair stand at SICAM. This global initiative is a perfect match for the sustainability concept of the company.

Vauth-Sagel is also optimising its packaging for greater efficiency and sustainability. “To achieve more sustainable packaging, we are focusing on reducing packaging materials and avoiding the use of polystyrene. By using more environmentally friendly materials, we can reduce our ecological footprint considerably,” says Claus Sagel.
